CNC Automatic Band Saws
A CNC automatic band saw feeds, clamps, cuts and repeats on its own. Set the length and quantity on the touchscreen and the shuttle vise feeds up to 500 mm per stroke with ±0.2 mm accuracy, repeating strokes for longer pieces. PCL automatic saws cover round stock from Ø300 to Ø700 mm.

What the automation does
Touchscreen control
Enter length and quantity; the controller runs the feed, clamp, cut and return cycle and counts finished pieces.
Shuttle vise feeding
A shuttle vise pulls the bar forward up to 500 mm per stroke, with ±0.2 mm accuracy, and repeats for longer lengths.
Automatic clamping
The fixed vise and the feed vise clamp and release automatically on every cycle, so the bar is held during each cut.
Inverter blade speed
20–80 m/min on BS-600A and BS-700A, optional on smaller models, to match blade speed to each material.
Screw chip conveyor
Moves chips out of the base automatically, which matters on long unattended runs.
Gantry linear-rail frame
The BS-700A runs the saw frame on linear rails in a double-column gantry and feeds heavy bar on bridge-type rollers.
When to choose automatic over semi-automatic
Choose automatic when you cut the same length many times a day, for example blanks for machining or forging. Choose a semi-automatic double-column saw when lengths change constantly and an operator is at the machine anyway. For high volumes of solid bar under Ø300 mm, a CNC circular cold saw is faster still.

Frequently asked questions
How long a piece can the automatic saw cut?
Each shuttle stroke feeds up to 500 mm. For longer pieces the saw repeats strokes automatically before cutting, so length is set on the touchscreen rather than limited by the stroke.
How accurate is the cut length?
Feeding accuracy is ±0.2 mm per stroke on every model in the range.
Can one operator run several automatic saws?
Yes. Once length and quantity are set, the saw feeds, clamps, cuts and counts pieces on its own, so one operator can load material and watch more than one machine.
Which models have hydraulic blade tensioning as standard?
BS-600A and BS-700A. On BS-300A to BS-500A it is an option, along with inverter speed control and the screw chip conveyor.
What is different on the BS-600A and BS-700A?
Both have 20–80 m/min inverter blade speed, hydraulic blade tension and a 7.5 kW main motor. The BS-700A also runs on a linear-rail gantry frame with bridge-type roller feeding for heavy bar.
